This morning, while it was still relatively cool, I went for a long, brisk walk in my neighborhood with my personal trainer/muse/golden retriever, Honey. A few minutes into our peaceful walk, a fiesty black poodle charged out of nowhere, yapping and yipping and carrying on. I was startled and then angry that his owner let him run free. Honey, however, simply glanced over and, without missing a beat, continued on our walk. I followed her lead.
That was a good reminder for me that when someone tries to “drive you crazy,” we’re always in the driver’s seat. We can’t control what others do but we get to choose how we respond. I’ll remember that today. Thanks, Honey!

Great lesson from a highly evolved creature =)
So true…. our reactions are our reality. Great reminder. Thanks Tricia and Honey. 🙂
